Our consulting solutions ensure that organizations get the best out of MongoDB.</p> <p>Work as a software developer in a small Agile team delivering solutions onsite for customers focussed on migrating our customers’ legacy relational-based Java applications to a more modern cloud-based architecture running on MongoDB, leveraging the latest GenAI tools and approaches to accelerate this process. During each project, successful candidates will be required to innovate on potential new GenAI-based solutions for specific challenges in addition to applying existing playbooks and tooling for migration.</p> <p>We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Bengaluru for our hybrid working model.</p> <h3>Position Summary</h3> <p>As an Application Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with customers to deliver tailored solutions for modernizing their legacy SQL-based systems and applications. Your role will involve collaborating with bite-size Agile teams, applying best practices, and contributing to system redesigns that leverage MongoDB. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong technical fundamentals and a passion for learning, as the role provides extensive training and exposure to modern technologies like MongoDB, GenAI, and cloud-native architectures</p> <h3>Position Expectations:</h3> <ul> <li>Collaborate with project teams to deliver solutions for modernizing legacy SQL-based applications and migrating them to MongoDB</li> <li>Apply your knowledge of Java (or similar programming languages) and relational databases to support customer projects</li> <li>Follow and contribute to best practice playbooks for migrations and modern application development</li> <li>Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, especially MongoDB, GenAI tools, and cloud architectures, as projects demand</li> <li>Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives to improve team processes and outputs</li> <li>Communicate progress, challenges, and ideas effectively within the team and to stakeholders</li> <li>Support debugging and performance optimization tasks during projects</li> <li>Be open to mentoring and guidance from senior team members while contributing to team discussions with a fresh perspective</li> </ul> <h3>Key Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>4–7 years of experience in software development, with a strong foundation in</li> <li>Core programming concepts specific to JAVA</li> <li>Relational databases and SQL, including basic stored procedures</li> <li>Application debugging and performance tuning</li> <li>Exposure to one or more enterprise application architectures, such as Spring Boot or Hibernate</li> <li>Experience working in Agile teams, with a familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git for version control</li> <li>Demonstrated curiosity and ability to learn new tools, frameworks, and best practices quickly</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset</li> <li>Strong communication skills to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders</li> <li>Nice-to-Have Skills</li> <li>Familiarity with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases</li> <li>Basic knowledge of GenAI tools and APIs (e.g., OpenAI GPT models)</li> <li>Exposure to Python and its application in scripting or data processing</li> <li>Basic understanding of cloud-native development concepts (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, or microservices)</li> <li>Hands-on experience with ORMs like Hibernate or JPA</li> </ul> <h3>Bonus Skills</h3> <ul> <li>Prior experience with MongoDB and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP</li> <li>Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes</li> <li>Hands-on experience with GenAI technologies (e.g., OpenAI API, GPT models) and the ability to innovate new use cases within migration projects</li> </ul> <h3>Key Competencies</h3> <ul> <li>St
