Data Analyst, Financial Crimes & Identity

<h2><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>About the role</strong></span></h2> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">We are hiring for a Senior Analyst to drive data-informed risk strategy on our Financial Crimes &amp; Identity team. As our Sr. Analyst, you will lead efforts to strengthen identity verification, customer onboarding, and lifecycle risk management by leveraging data to inform decisioning and control performance. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams to scale risk strategies that protect our members while maintaining a seamless and secure experience.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $109,000.00 and up to $150,000.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>In this role, you can expect to</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Analyze and monitor Financial Crimes and Identity risk metrics across onboarding and lifecycle controls</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Leverage data to identify trends, emerging typologies, and control performance to inform strategy improvements</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Lead the development and optimization of risk strategies across KYC, identity verification, and customer segmentation</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations to implement and scale decisioning logic and controls</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Build dashboards and monitoring frameworks to track performance and identify anomalies</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Collaborate with Data Science and Machine Learning teams to support model development and automation of risk processes</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Support identity verification vendor strategy through performance analysis, testing, and optimization</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>To thrive in this role, you have</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">5+ years of experience in analytics, risk, or Financial Crimes (AML, KYC, identity, fraud, or related domains)</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets to drive insights</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience developing or optimizing risk strategies, decisioning logic, or rule-based systems</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience analyzing risk metrics (e.g., approval rates, false positives, downstream fraud signals)</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience building dashboards or monitoring frameworks (Looker, Tableau, or similar)</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Familiarity with customer onboarding/KYC processes and identity verification concepts</s
