Director, Care Delivery Learning & Development

Ro is a direct-to-patient healthcare company with a mission of helping patients achieve their health goals by delivering the easiest, most effective care possible. Ro is the only company to offer nationwide telehealth, labs, and pharmacy services. This is enabled by Ro's vertically integrated platform that helps patients achieve their goals through a convenient, end-to-end healthcare experience spanning from diagnosis, to delivery of medication, to ongoing care. Since 2017, Ro has helped millions of patients in nearly every single county in the United States, including 99% of primary care deserts. Ro is consistently recognized as a top workplace in Health Care, in New York, and for Women and Parents—earning more than 20 honors from Fortune, Great Place to Work, and PEOPLE since 2021. In 2025 alone, we ranked top 5 among medium workplaces in Health Care and New York, and top 50 nationwide. As the Director of Learning & Development on Ro's Care Delivery team, you will own the learning strategy and programs supporting hundreds of clinical and non-clinical patient-facing team members. You will ensure our teams have the knowledge, skills, and resources to deliver high-quality patient care at scale, from onboarding and new program launches to ongoing development, performance improvement, and retraining. You will build the systems, processes, and infrastructure that enable Learning & Development to operate effectively as our business evolves. This includes establishing how we identify and prioritize learning needs, develop and maintain content, scale learning across teams, and measure whether learning translates into the expected behaviors and performance outcomes. You will also own the evaluation and adoption of learning technologies and tools, ensuring the team is equipped to operate efficiently and stays at the forefront of adult learning practices, emerging technologies, and innovative approaches to learning. You will partner closely with Clinical, Operations, Quality & Safety, Product, and other cross-functional leaders to ensure learning investments address the right problems and drive measurable impact. You are a strategic and operational leader who knows how to build a scalable learning function in a fast-moving, complex environment. You bring strong judgment about when training is the right solution, a data-driven approach to improving frontline performance, and the ability to build and lead a high-performing team. You are a complexity buster - able to distill the most complex clinical or technical concepts to acceptable learning content. You are equally comfortable setting long-term direction, establishing practical systems and processes, and driving execution through your team and cross-functional partners.
