Your mission: We’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager (all genders) to take end-to-end ownership of accounting and controlling in a fast-growing, project-driven organization. In this senior, hands-on role, you will independently run our core finance processes—from accurate bookkeeping, monthly and annual closing, tax and audit coordination through to budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and liquidity planning. You will establish reliable structures, deliver decision-ready financial insights, and help scale our finance setup, including the implementation and continuous improvement of our ERP system. Your day-to-day: Own day-to-day accounting across our entities, including accounts payable and receivable, bank and balance-sheet reconciliations, accruals, provisions, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and expense accounting. Independently manage timely and accurate monthly closings under German GAAP (HGB), coordinating external accountants and local requirements for international entities where applicable. Prepare management accounts, variance analyses, cost-centre and project reporting, KPIs, and clear decision materials for leadership and budget owners. Support the annual budget, rolling forecasts, scenario planning, and short- and medium-term liquidity planning. Ensure robust financial controls, documentation, and compliance with accounting, tax, and internal policies, coordinate VAT and other recurring filings with external tax advisors. Lead the finance workstream for ERP implementation and optimization, covering process design, data migration and quality, testing, cutover, training, and post-go-live stabilization. Your profile: Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable field. An additional accounting or tax qualification is a plus. At least 3 years of relevant professional experience covering both accounting and controlling, ideally in a fast-growing, project-driven, or international environment. Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB), monthly and annual closing, VAT, and core accounting processes; experience coordinating audits and tax advisors. Demonstrated ability to independently own finance processes from transaction-level detail through to management-level analysis. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (ideally SAP S/4HANA). Fluent in English and at least basic skills in German for day-to-day collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. We recognize that women and other under-represented groups are often overlooked in our industry. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every listed qualification, we still encourage you to apply. Talent and potential can’t always be captured in a checklist. Why us? Take ownership of a key role with real impact: shape scalable accounting operations and reliable financial processes in a growing, mission-driven company. High autonomy, short decision paths, and a team that values clarity, accountability, and execution. Flexible working
