Fund Operations Senior Associate - Distributions

About Belltower Fund Group: Belltower, AngelList’s funds services division, is empowering world-changing fund investments. Belltower was formed in 2019 as AngelList’s native fund administrator. Belltower provides fund administration services to the venture space. Our coverage spans syndicates, venture funds, and first-of-their-kind rolling funds. Our full-service fund management offering streamlines the complexity of running a fund by integrating financial reporting, tax, compliance, portfolio management, and other services that managers typically have to cobble together from multiple vendors. Our services, combined with AngelList’s software, enable us to launch and scale a fund efficiently, allowing fund managers to focus on what they do best: investing. Since 2019, Belltower has supported 27k+ funds representing over $25B in assets under administration, leveraging AngelList’s fund admin software to power the service layer for funds launched on the AngelList platform. About the Role As a Fund Operations Senior Associate on the Distributions Team, you will play a critical role in executing distributions across Belltower’s portfolio of investment funds. The Distributions Team sits within the Fund Accounting Team and is responsible for ensuring distribution events are executed accurately, efficiently, and with appropriate operational controls from initiation through completion. This is a highly operational and detail-intensive role at the intersection of fund operations, investor activity, treasury, and fund accounting. While accounting experience is not required, successful candidates will have experience working with investment funds and an understanding of the operational lifecycle of private equity, venture capital, or similar closed-end investment vehicles. The Fund Operations Senior Associate will report to the Distributions Team Manager and collaborate with Fund Accounting, Services, Legal/Compliance, and Tax teams. This role is well-suited for candidates who are highly organized, eager to learn, process-minded, and comfortable owning time-sensitive workflows where accuracy matters. You will help manage distribution workflows across multiple funds and entities, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, review supporting documentation and fund data, prepare and track payments, resolve exceptions, and ensure distribution activity is accurately reflected across Belltower’s systems of record.
