This team shapes the creative direction and visual storytelling of the Coinbase consumer product, turning bold ideas into polished, emotionally resonant experiences.</p> <p>You'll set the creative bar for the product, art direct a team of senior visual and motion designers, and partner closely with Product Design, Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing to ship work that delights millions of customers.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own the creative direction and visual identity of the Coinbase consumer product, evolving the design language across icons, color systems, typography, and UI components.</li> <li>Lead high-impact product launch campaigns from concept through delivery, with rigorous attention to visual craft and storytelling.</li> <li>Partner with Product Designers, Engineers, Product Managers, and Marketers to embed creative thinking into every stage of the product development process.</li> <li>Build and mentor a team of visual, motion, and illustration designers, raising the quality bar through critique, shared best practices, and hands-on art direction.</li> <li>Shape the creative strategy for how Coinbase products look, move, and feel, balancing innovation with feasibility at scale.</li> <li>Drive design excellence by directly contributing as a senior IC when needed, rolling up your sleeves on high-visibility projects.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What we look for in you:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>7+ years leading product-focused creative work (visual design, motion, illustration) with a portfolio demonstrating shipped, high-imp
