We free people and agents to ship what’s next.

For more than a decade, Vercel has shaped how the web is built. As the team behind Next.js, v0, and AI SDK, we create products that help builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.

Now, software is entering a new era, and the next generation of products will not just be used by people. They will be built, extended, and operated by agents.

We are building the platform for that future, trusted by companies like OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. Whether you’re building our products, supporting our customers, growing our community, or shaping our story, you’ll help define what comes next.

About the Role:

Vercel is growing fast, and so is the demand on our IT team. We're looking for an IT Operations Engineer to be the backbone of day-to-day technical support for our New York City office, someone who takes real ownership of the employee experience and keeps our team running at full speed.

In this role, you'll be the go-to person for in-office IT support: resolving hardware and software issues and partnering with teams across the company to make sure everyone has what they need to do their best work. You'll manage the tools and systems Vercel's employees rely on every day, from endpoint management and AV to onboarding workflows and access controls.

AI fluency is a core expectation at Vercel, not a bonus. We expect you to actively use AI tools to work faster, automate repetitive tasks, and solve problems more effectively. Whether that's writing scripts, drafting documentation, triaging requests, or researching solutions, we want someone who reaches for AI as a natural part of how they work.

Beyond the helpdesk, you'll have genuine opportunities to contribute to larger IT projects and initiatives. This is a team that operates with a high bar and moves quickly, and we're looking for someone who matches that energy: proactive, detail-oriented, and genuinely excited about building great IT experiences at scale.

This is an in-person role based in New York City. The successful candidate will be expected to work onsite to effectively collaborate with our team and support our office's IT needs.

What You Will Do:

Serve as the first point of contact for in-office and remote staff on all IT-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems, ensuring minimal downtime and a great employee experience.

Actively use AI tools to triage requests, draft documentation, write scripts, and find solutions faster. We expect AI to be a regular part of how you work, not an occasional experiment.

Utilize IT ticketing systems to manage and prioritize help-desk requests, keeping response times tight and communication clear.

Help with the creation, management, and support of user accounts and access controls, ensuring employees have the resources and permissions they need to do their jobs.

Support in-office AV and conference room technology, including event support for team gatherings and all-hands meetings.

Collaborate with other IT team members on projects ranging from new technology rollouts to process improvements.

Partner with our Onboarding team to procure equipment, set up accounts, and deliver a smooth experience for new hires.

Develop and maintain clear documentation for IT systems, processes, and common issues.

Work cross-functionally with teams like Workplace Services and People to support company-wide initiatives and keep the office running well.

About You:

Experienced IT Professional: You have at least 5 years of experience in IT support or a related field, with a solid foundation in troubleshooting hardware, software, AV, and network issues. Experience in a startup or tech environment is a plus.

AI-Native Worker: You actively use AI tools as a core part of how you work, not just occasionally. You reach
