Product Owner, Accounting Stack (entire Business Suite)

Flex is building the AI-native private bank for super premium, closely held business owners. We are re-architecting the entire financial system for entrepreneurs. From the first dollar a business earns to how that value compounds, moves, and is ultimately spent in real life. Banking, credit, payments, personal finance, financial operations, all rebuilt from the ground up as a single intelligent system. Since launching publicly in September 2023, we have scaled from zero to nine-figure annualized revenue with a clear path to profitability by late 2026. We move fast, ship relentlessly, and operate with extreme ownership. Our customers are affluent business owners with $3M to $200M in revenue. The backbone of the economy and one of the most underserved segments in finance. We are replacing the outdated banks and fragmented tools they are stuck with. The opportunity is a roughly $1T+ revenue market hiding in plain sight. We are building toward $100B+ in enterprise value by delivering a product that is fundamentally better, not incrementally improved. Flex has raised $100M+ in equity and $300M+ in debt. What we hold ourselves to: mission-critical problems, high bar low ego, speed over comfort, enduring impact. Locations: Remote. Open to candidates in Canada, Mexico, the United States, Brazil, and Colombia. The Role -------- You will own Flex's Accountants Stack. Accounting integrations, expense management, bill pay, invoicing, AR and AP, and financial reporting. The full set of tools that closely held business owners and the accountants who serve them use to run the financial operations of the company. The accountant is the lead persona for this role. Bookkeepers, controllers, fractional CFOs, and outside CPAs are the people who actually live in this software day to day. Build for them and the owner wins by default. Build only for the owner and the accountant works around you, which means you lose. The reason this role exists at Flex and not at every fintech is the unique customer we serve. Super premium business owners with $3M to $200M in revenue have a controller or an outside accountant, real ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, sometimes Microsoft Dynamics or Acumatica), and a layered financial life where the business and personal sides are deeply intertwined. The owner pays themselves a distribution, then funds personal investments, then pays for an asset, then expenses something back through the company. Their accountant has to make all of it tie out. We are the only product positioned to make that integrated life elegant for both sides. This role builds it. You will not build a generic accounting integration. You will build the Accountants Stack that bookkeepers, controllers, and CPAs actually want, which means knowing what they hate about QuickBooks, what they love about NetSuite, what they wish Bill.com did, and where the seams between business and personal finance create the most friction today.
