Revit BIM Modeler (Remote, India) at US Architecture Firm

We are a US architecture firm and we are adding a Revit modeler to our BIM team.

Studio RNB is an Atlanta-based architecture firm founded in 2024. We work on civic, hospitality, and residential projects across the Southeast and into New York, and we are licensed in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, and New York. Our models are not marketing exercises. They become permit sets, they get built, and a US-licensed architect stamps them.

We already have a BIM team. You would join it, not start it. What we need is someone who can take a model and a set of standards and move a project forward without being walked through every step.

What you will do

Build and maintain Revit models for US architectural projects from schematic design through construction documents Produce sheets, plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules that hold up to a US permit review Work inside our published Revit standards: families, worksets, view templates, naming, and sheet setup Coordinate your work in Autodesk Construction Cloud alongside our existing BIM staff Flag problems in the model before they reach the drawings, and propose the fix rather than waiting for direction

What success looks like at 90 days

You are picking up a project package, reading the markups, and returning coordinated work that needs correction rather than reconstruction. Our senior staff review your sheets. They do not rebuild them.

Required

Three or more years producing Revit models in a professional office, on real projects that were built or permitted Fluency in Revit for architecture: families, worksets, view templates, sheets, schedules, and detailing A portfolio we can review, showing work you personally modeled. Tell us what was yours and what was the team's Written and spoken English strong enough to read US markups and ask a clear question in a call A minimum of three hours of daily overlap with 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM US Eastern time. From India that is roughly 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST in summer, and 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST from November through March. This is a real constraint. Please only apply if those evenings work for you long term A reliable computer and internet connection capable of running Revit and joining video calls

Strongly preferred

Direct experience on US projects, and familiarity with how US construction documents are organized Computational design skill: Dynamo, Grasshopper, Rhino, or Rhino.Inside. Strong computational ability can substitute for US project experience Daily working use of AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini, with a clear sense of where they help and where they do not Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM Collaborate Pro, Navisworks, or Forma Experience being the person on a team who fixes the model when it breaks

What we provide

All Autodesk and other software licenses, paid by us Published BIM standards, template files, and a defined review process, so you are not guessing at our conventions Direct access to a licensed US architect and to our existing BIM staff $900 to $1,100 USD per month depending on experience and portfolio, plus a performance bonus tied to schedule and quality targets we set with you in writing Contract engagement to start, with a path to employment through an employer of record after [PROBATION PERIOD] Paid time off and holidays, agreed in writing before you begin

How to apply

Answer the screener questions and attach two things: your resume, and a portfolio PDF or link. In your portfolio, pick one project and show three images of it, and write two or three sentences on what you modeled, what was difficult, and how you solved it. Applications without a portfolio are not reviewed.

We use AI every day and we expect you to. If you used it to prepare your application, say so and tell us how. We are interested in your judgment, not your typing speed.

Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
