Salesforce Developer

<p>We’re hiring a <strong>Salesforce Developer</strong> to deepen Mercury’s technical bench — someone who can build, refactor, and operate core GTM systems with care, precision, and durability.</p> <p>This role fills a critical gap today: hands-on engineering capacity to implement platform capabilities that already exist on paper — and reduce tool sprawl by building stronger foundations directly into Salesforce and adjacent systems.</p> <p>You’ll work closely with Architecture, Data, TPM, and Systems Experience to turn intent into reality.</p> <p><em>*Mercury is a fintech company, not an FDIC-insured bank. Banking services provided through Choice Financial Group and Column N.A., Members FDIC.</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3>Here are some things you’ll do on the job:</h3> <ul> <li>Build and maintain Salesforce functionality (flows, automation, objects, permissions)</li> <li>Implement architectural designs without diverging from intent</li> <li>Improve reliability, performance, and maintainability of GTM systems</li> <li>Reduce tech debt and replace fragile workarounds with durable solutions</li> <li>Partner with Data Strategy to ensure clean data generation</li> <li>Support integrations and tooling across the revenue stack</li> <li>Participate in incident response and platform debugging</li> <li>Help migrate functionality <em>into</em> core platforms rather than adding new tools</li> </ul> <h3>You should have:</h3> <ul> <li>8+ years experience in Salesforce development or platform engineering roles</li> <li>Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce automation, flows, object models, permissions, and integrations</li> <li>Excited to own and maintain <strong>API-based integrations</strong> between Salesforce and downstream/upstream systems</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to build and refactor systems with <strong>durability, performance, and maintainability</strong> in mind</li> <li>Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions</li> <li>Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in production environments</li> <li>Clear communication skills and comfort explaining technical tradeoffs</li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Qualifications:&nbsp;</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with <strong>Salesforce Data Cloud</strong>, including ingestion, identity resolution, and activation</li> <li>Familiarity with GTM workflows, revenue operations, or customer lifecycle systems</li> <li>Experience reducing tool sprawl by consolidating functionality into core platforms</li> <li>Exposure to data pipelines, ETL processes, or downstream a
