Ads is how we accelerate that mission: helping brands reach the right retailers, understand what's working, and grow their business on Faire.</p> <p>This is a high-visibility, high-impact role on one of Faire's top priorities heading into IPO.</p> <p><strong>Why now?</strong></p> <p>The Ads team is expanding from 1 team to 3 in 2026. You're joining early enough to shape the direction of the product, with enough already in place to ship meaningful work from day one.</p> <p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p> <p>This is a full-stack product engineering role.&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>You own projects end to end, across frontend, backend, and data.</li> <li>Partner with PMs and designers to define the why and what, not just the how; your product instincts matter here</li> <li>Contribute to Faire's server-driven UI framework: set technical direction, ensure scalability, and drive adoption across the team</li> <li>Optimize frontend performance using Next.js and modern web techniques</li> <li>Use AI tooling as a genuine part of your workflow, not as an experiment</li> <li>Raise the bar for the engineers around you through code review, pairing, and sharing what you know</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we're looking for:</strong></p> <p><em>Must-haves:</em></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of full-time engineering experience (we look at the whole picture)</li> <li>Strong frontend depth in TypeScript and React; you can own a complex fullstack project top to bottom</li> <li>Product-driven and customer-centric; you think about our customers, not just the technology.</li> <li>Comfortable in high-ambiguity environments; you move fast, communicate clearly, and don't wait for perfect specs</li> <li>AI tooling is genuinely part of how you work today; you can speak to what you use, what works, and what doesn't</li> </ul> <p><em>Preferred:</em></p> <ul> <li>Background in ad tech, ads manager tools, or customer-facing analytics</li> <li>Experience leading a complex frontend project with multiple stakeholders, or mentoring a small group of frontend engineers</li> <li>Hands-on experience with data pipelines (Airflow, Spark, or similar)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Tech we use: </strong>TypeScript, React, Next.js, Kotlin, Python, Airflow, Jest, Cypress.
