The work spans a wide range of technologies, including APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and SaaS platforms across multiple languages, and you'll help advance how we use AI as a core part of day-to-day engineering.</p> <p><strong>Why we need you</strong></p> <p>The PagerDuty Integrations Team is looking for a software engineer who's eager to learn new technologies. Our integrations connect PagerDuty to the wider set of tools our customers use every day, spanning many languages, platforms, and protocols. You'll help create the foundation for these systems by building highly available services, scalable databases, and secure APIs. You'll also help promote engineering excellence across our design, development, test, and release cycles, with AI as a core part of how you work.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>From day one, you'll be designing, coding, testing and shipping backend applications and microservices, APIs, webhooks, and front-end interfaces that ensure we deliver reliable, scalable integrations to our customers.</li> <li>You'll collaborate closely with engineers across teams.</li> <li>With 20,000+ global customers and growing, you'll be solving really interesting technical challenges while helping to scale our product to keep up with demand.</li> <li>You will be participating in your team's on-call rotation, triaging and addressing production issues as they arise.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 4 years of experience designing, building, and operating large systems with scalability, availability, and performance requirements.</li> <li>Development experience building and operating customer-facing, web-based products.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g. Java, Ruby, or Elixir) and with AI coding tools.</li> <li>A demonstrated eagerness to learn new technologies and pick up unfamiliar languages and platforms quickly.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>You have operational experience in cloud technologies such as AWS</li> <li>You're comfortable moving between multiple languages and tech stacks</li> <li>You have experience integrating with third-party APIs, webhooks, or OAuth-based authentication</li> <li>You have experience with SaaS platforms such as Jira, Salesforce or ServiceNow</li> <li>You have operational experience with databases & tools (e.g. MySQL, Aurora, Kafka, NoSQL, applying software engineering principles to data problems, etc.)</li> <li>Experience building user-facing public APIs</li> <li>You've had experience designing & implementing distributed and highly available systems</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>The base salary range for this position is €41,000.00 - €61,600.00<span class="collapsed-field-text"> EUR.</span> This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.</p> <p>Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.&l
