About the role
The quality of reprocessed raw materials (e.g. copper bars, steel stubs and baked anodes) has major implications on operational parameters and end product. The safety with Zero Harm, housekeeping and maintenance of butt breaking and rod processing area is a real challenge due to excessive heat, carbon dust and copper dust laden atmosphere and implied hazard of hot spent and loose anodes handling which requires a high degree of alertness with physical and mental stamina.
